From Farthest to Near

Funded by London Councils and currently we are delivering our second programme.

The first, completed in 2013, supported twenty five hard to reach BME women to go through a three stage pilot programme – traditional confidence building and skills training; creative activities using drama, photography and public surveys; intense job search, CV construction, interview techniques and voluntary work.

Currently, there are twenty one BME women on the second programme.

The third one should start in April 2015 as we have received news of approval of our funding application to the London Councils.

An important element of our project is the use of creative activities to take hard to reach BME women out of their comfort zones for building their confidence and employment-related skills.

For more details and to join the third programme in April 2014 please contact Ambeah on 020 7377 5482 or [email protected]
